Intoduction. At October 2018 Russian Public Opinion Research center published a survey result that said that almost a half of young people aged 18-24 have never heard of Stalin's repressions. Another reason the sentence that Yury Dud parent's have been said to him all his life: "Be cautions. Don't attract unnecessary attention. Don't stick out. And besides, we're simple people - we don't decide anything." Yury Dud always wondered: what's the origin of this fear in the older generation? Of this desire to coat everything in gray? Why are they afraid that slightest boldness will surely result in punishment?

Description of Gulag (1930—1960).
What is legal basis of condemnations? In many cases the standard legal procedure was bypassed by special troika. How many real criminals/spys where their? Than the film focused on the story of the parent's of two people.

Sergei Korolev was arrested by the NKVD on 22 June 1938.

Corollary. Yury Dud traveled to Kolyma to discuss not the past of Russia, but it's present. "Fear is a sticky beast." Fear is a greatest enemy of freedom. Fearing nothing means missing screws and being stupid. But fearing a rustle, a look, or worst at all, your own opinion, means never risking, or exploring new things, or developing yourself, your community, and your country. Yury Dud traveled to Kolyma to remind everyone two simple human values. 1. Don't be afraid. 2. Respect yourself.

Bonus part (after the titles): What is now-a-days attitude to Stalin? What victims of repression thought? How Stalin is treated in the families that was affected by repression? This is original cut. You will be surprised to find out that my of repression and their families are grateful to Stalin.
